As more homeowners update their outdoor living spaces, the need for more patio furniture options continues to grow. Consequently, outdoor sectionals are quickly growing in popularity.
One of the most important features of outdoor sectionals is the abilty to configure each section to suit the space and needs of the homeowner.
Another common characteristic is the comfort that these furniture pieces offer. Most sectionals tend to fall into the "deep seating" category because of the width and depth of the furniture. Thick cushions are the norm as they provide superior comfort. Look for a durable outdoor fabric such as a polyester blend or "Sunbrella" for extra durability.
Most outdoor sectionals are crafted of an aluminum frame that is wrapped in an all-weather wicker such as PVC wicker. This variety is quite common because of its style and durability. For those who prefer a different style, cast aluminum sectionals (with no wicker exterior) are also available. Ottomans or coffee tables usually come standard with the sets for extra convenience.
No matter which style you prefer, modular seating is another example of the expanding trend of "bringing the indoors out". So, if you want to give your patio space a trendy update, consider an outdoor sectional--you may never want to go back indoors!
