Our Simone Garden Bench has a classic look and feel that is simply timeless. This bench is made of extremely durable hardwood and is built to last. Mortise and tenon joinery, solid and heavy construction, the bench also offers contoured seat and armrests for exquisite comfort. Crafted of durable Shorea, the bench has a reddish mahagony finish and is naturally decay and insect resistant.

The bench is made of the beautiful non-endangered Shorea, a hardwood growing naturally and plentifully in Asia Pacific protected forests. In Asia, Shorea has been the wood of choice for centuries in shipbuilding, furniture, houses, and many other uses. Because of its hardness and the natural oils present in the wood, shorea products are extremely resistant to fungi, termites, rot and decay. In addition, the wood is also carefully kiln-dried prior to production.
