Commercial-Grade Outdoor Tiki Bar 8' x 8'

This Tiki bar measures 8' x 8' with a counter width of 24" and a counter height of 44".

There is plenty of shelf / storage space with doors underneath the counter. Roof panels are constructed with palm thatch cover on top of bamboo plywood panel. This unit can seat 16 people comfortably. This Tiki Bar is built with the natural color Muso bamboo. We also offer a full line of bamboo bar stools to go with all of our Tiki Bars.

 

 

 

 

 

Bamboo products can be used indoors and outdoors. When used outdoors it is very important to do regular maintenance just like with any outdoor wood or metal products. Washing the bamboo furniture with a detergent mixed with an anti-mildew additive is strongly encouraged at least once every 6 months. More washings may be needed if you live in a very wet climate. Location of the bamboo furniture is very critical due to the fact that mildew will occur easily when bamboo is under very wet conditions for an extended period of time. If possible, cover or move the bamboo furniture indoors during the off -season as a way to better prolong it’s life. Our bamboo products are made of natural bamboo with coats of outdoor varnish. In strong sunlight, the varnish will breakdown and the bamboo will begin to weather. Many customers prefer the natural aged look of bamboo which weathers much like cedar wood, first getting darker and ending up a silver-gray color. We recommend coating the bamboo with a UV protected outdoor varnish once per year, preferably at the end of summer to maintain color. Bamboo should last many years in the outdoors. Avoid direct contact with the earth to prevent rot. Please observe and following these steps to maintain your bamboo products

1. Bamboo is going to split, this is the nature of bamboo. It is okay for bamboo to split and still maintain the structural integrity of the bamboo products. However it is important to prevent it from further splitting by tightly tying both ends of the split section using galvanized or copper wire
2. You need to properly clean the bamboo structure. Cleaning it with a light detergent solution is helpful. Putting a coat of linseed oil (mixed with 50% thinner) is also recommended
3. The proper setting of bamboo products is also important. Anything you can do to take them away from extreme weather or temperature variation as much as possible, like direct sunlight and extreme rain, can help
4. Try to place your bamboo furniture away from heaters or locations where temperature variation is a concern.
5. Regularly wash and clean bamboo located outdoors with detergent and an outdoor anti-mildew solution.
6. Move or cover the Tiki furniture during off-season
