What's "DuraCord?"

DuraCord ropes and textiles are used to make the most exclusive outdoor furniture you can find. It's an advanced solution-dyed acrylic that is softer than polyester yet colorfast (even with use of bleach) and mildew resistant. DuraCord is used to create the most stylish and durable ropes for hammocks, yarns for outdoor rugs, and textiles for quilted hammocks and outdoor pillows. DuraCord is environmentally friendly as it requires less energy and water to manufacture than other synthetic fibers and is produced with built in antimicrobial blockers and UV inhibitors . DuraCord lasts under rough use. It is also easy to care for it; it washes easily with mild soapy water.   DuraCord ropes, rugs and textiles do not absorb water (only 0.05 percent moisture regain), This allows the material to dry very quickly and keeps the mildew at bay. Non-absorption also makes DuraCord products stain resistant.

What's Cumaru?
Cumaru is an exotic hardwood that is naturally weather resistant and beautiful to the eyes. Cumaru is also sometimes called "Brazilian Teak."  This wood is native of South America and features an extremely dense textured and rich tones. This hardwood is five times harder than pine and is part of the most durable hardwood category. With Cumaru, the application of sealer is not necessary as it naturally weathers to a beautiful silver-gray patina
