Mosquito Control
Let's face it--mosquitoes are a total bother! Until recently, the main options to control these pesky critters involved smelly or oily chemical sprays and lotions or smoke-emitting candles and torches.
Now, there is another, long-term way to keep these pests at bay.
The latest addition to the arena of mosquito control is the carbon dioxide device, also known as the mosquito trap or Skeeter Vac. It promises to be more effective and environmentally friendly than all of its predecessors. Mosquito traps emit a mix of carbon dioxide, heat, and various scents to simulate human breathing, the primary mosquito attractant. Used throughout an entire season, these mosquito traps have tha ability to kill literally hundreds of thousands of mosquitoes.
Its strongest advantage, however, is power efficiency. The trap is designed so that small amounts of propane can be used at a time without wasting any energy. Since it runs on propane rather than electricity, they can be placed anywhere without the hassle of extension cords. In addition, the plumes emitted are completely safe and will attract only the blood-sucking insects, sparing harmless species such as hoverflies and ladybirds.
If mosquitoes have got you down, consider trying a mosquito trap system. It may be one of the best purchases you'll ever make.
