Nothing less than a triumph of style, price and design, our new Manchester Bench is the first of its kind - a Chippendale inspired style at a fraction of the cost. Until now, this style of bench was available only in costly, imported teak and mahogany. Our version derives its name as an homage to our great-grandfather, renowned wooden boat builder Carl Adams, who was called by President Roosevelt to be the Superintendent of the Cambridge Shipyards during World War II. We think Pappy would be proud to own this bench - it is sturdy and practical but with a traditional sense of style, just like the old man himself.

Made of White Cedar, a beautiful, durable and affordable alternative to costly teak and cheap, environmentally unsound plastic.

Cedar is a light weight wood, so the bench can be easily moved or stored during cold winter months.

Our White Cedar comes from the United States and Canada, where strict worker and evironmental protection laws ensure that it is harvested in accordance with the highest standards.

This bench is shipped natural, unfinished - our wood is NOT pressure treated, a toxic process applied to the wooden furniture sold in many home and hardware chains. Our White Cedar is 100% natural and safe for you, your family and our environment.

Some assembly required.

Availability: Usually ships via UPS in 2 weeks.

Measures 59" wide x 20" deep x 32" high back, 36 lbs.
Weight Capacity: 575 lbs.

Pictured with our cedar rectangular coffee table.

**Please note: Cedar tends to provide more of a rustic look.  Knots and checking (small cracks) are natural with this wood type.  These characteristics do not interfere with the strength of the wood.**
