• Corrosion – Wood furniture is more likely to rot than
metal garden benches. In order to try to protect your wooden furniture,
you should use a water blocking stain or finish on the furniture.
Poorly made metal benches could rust.
• Comfort – Some people think metal garden benches are
more comfortable. Others think wooden furniture is easier on the back.
Test the benches out before you buy to figure out what you like most.
• Appearance – If you are going for a down home, country
mood in your garden, perhaps wooden benches are better. If your garden
has more of a modern feel, metal garden benches could be a better
choice.
